I am originally from Grayson, Georgia. I graduated from Grayson High School and came to Milledgeville for college. I graduated from Georgia College in 2018 with my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and was offered a wonderful teaching job at Midway Hills Primary School in Baldwin County. While teaching, I worked online at Georgia College to earn my Master's degree in Instructional Technology. I finished my Master's degree in May of 2020 and began to work towards my Specialist degree in Instructional Technology with Valdosta State University. I will finish that degree by December of 2022!

I believe all children can learn when given a nurturing environment and adequate support in the classroom. As a teacher, I not only teach my students but my students teach me as well. In my classroom we grow together and discuss our strengths and weaknesses. We push each other to work our hardest and do our best.

In the past, I have taught first grade and Kindergarten. I recently finished my fourth year teaching. My career goal has always been to become a technology teacher or specialist to help others learn about educational technology tools that can be used at school. I am so excited to announce that I have accepted my dream job and met my career goal. I will be a technology teacher for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students this fall!

I love helping my young students learn about technology- it is amazing at what little citizens can do! I am always learning about new technology tools to teach my students in the classroom and I am constantly teaching my colleagues about these tools as well. I am so excited to start my Technology Teacher job this fall.

I got married to Drew in June of 2021. We love being outdoors, watching football, and having fun with our friends! He is my biggest supporter and always keeps me laughing.
